I’m just frozen, and sitting on the sidelines.
I’m not excited about buying houses right now. But with the money just sitting there, I feel like I’m missing out on opportunities.
How can I put this money to work so that it’s building assets or creating cash flow?
Katie asks (at 21:19 minutes): My spouse and I are from the US, but we live and work overseas.
We want to buy a house in my home state, rent it out while we’re abroad, and live in it when we retire in 18 years.
But we’re concerned about the impact of redlining on our city. How do we provide a fair housing opportunity to potential renters?
Section 8 is a solution, but it doesn’t seem like many landlords participate. What’re some considerations for pursuing Section 8 or a similar program?
