Guides, tools, and frameworks for building the life your money is supposed to fund.

Got a money question? This is the place to leave it.

Paula answers listener questions on the show every second episode-ish,  alongside Joe Saul-Sehy — a former financial advisor, host of the Stacking Benjamins podcast, and Paula's go-to for a second opinion. He joins for these Q&A episodes specifically, and the two of them don't always agree — which is usually when the answers get most useful.

A few things to know before you hit record

Will my question actually get answered?

Almost always, yes — it's rare that we don't end up featuring a question. To give yours the best shot, jot down what you want to ask beforehand so you don't lose your train of thought, then read from it while you record. A few things that help:

  • Keep it clear and specific — one focused question, not several stacked together
  • Ask something other listeners are probably wondering too, not just something that applies to your exact situation
  • Bring up topics we don't cover as often, like entrepreneurship, small business, or career

How long will it take to hear my answer?

About 4 to 6 weeks-ish, depending on how many questions are in the queue. We'll email you the moment yours airs.

How long can my voicemail be?

 Up to 3 minutes.

Can I stay anonymous?

Yes, absolutely! Just say so at the start of your recording (e.g., "I'm Anonymous, calling from Seattle"). Still use your real name and email when you submit — we need it to reach you, but it's never shared publicly if you've asked to stay anonymous.

Can I leave more than one voicemail if 3 minutes isn't enough?

Please don't — out of respect for everyone else waiting in line, multi-part questions usually don't get aired.

You answered my question — thanks! Can I ask a follow-up?

Absolutely. Leave a new voicemail the same way, and mention which episode your original question aired on.

How will I know when it's aired?

We'll email you!

What Happens Next?

Right after you submit, we'll send you a confirmation email — click the link inside to confirm your email address. That's what lets us actually reach you later.

Once your question airs, we'll follow up with another email so you know exactly which episode to check out. That's it — just sit tight, and thanks for your patience!
